Olivopontocerebellar Degeneration:
Epidemiological data from the 1st Department of Neurology,
Aristotelian University, AHEPA Hospital, during 1988-1998

We analysed retrospectively 54 cases from 77 patients suffering from primarily olivopontocerebellar degeneration among 7614 patients who were admitted in the 1 st Department of Neurology, AHEPA Hospital, during the decade 1988-1998. Most of them were middle-aged at the onset of the disease and they showed a progressive deterioration. We haven't found any familial type.
